United States Steel Announces Leadership Change in Tubular Organization
PITTSBURGH, April 29, 2019- United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) Senior Vice President – Industrial, Service Center and Mining Solutions and Tubular Douglas R. Matthews announced today that Vice President – Commercial J. Craig Horan is retiring after a 37-year career in the oil and gas industry. His retirement is effective May 31, 2019.
Horan’s career with U. S. Steel began in 2007 when the company acquired Lone Star Technologies. In November 2014 he was appointed vice president – commercial for U. S. Steel Tubular Products. “Craig has built a strong foundation for our Tubular commercial organization. His leadership will benefit the company for many years to come.” said Matthews. “The entire organization wishes him well in his future pursuits.”
Robert J. Beltz will assume the role of General Manager - Commercial for the Tubular organization. Beltz joined U. S. Steel in 1990 and most recently has served as General Manager of Business Development for the Industrial, Service Center and Mining Solutions segment.
