At Mon Valley Works’ Irvin Plant, Robert is proud to work for a company that invests in its people, its facilities, and the future of American steel. As an operating technician, he’s gained confidence in what’s ahead and the peace of mind to focus on what matters most: his family. For Robert, it comes down to two things: stability and security. And he knows he’s found both at U. S. Steel.

At Great Lakes Works, Shift Manager Renaldo (Reno) has spent more than 50 years building a career and a legacy. He’s proud of the life U. S. Steel helped him build and the family he was able to provide for because of it. That belief carries forward through his son, who now works alongside him at the plant. For Reno, it comes down to one thing: pride – in the work and what it makes possible for himself and others.

At U. S. Steel's Mon Valley Works - Edgar Thomson Plant, the Yezovich family carries forward a story that began when their great-grandfather arrived from overseas in 1910 in search of a new life. From that earliest connection to the mill, generations of the family have built careers here, supporting their families and creating lives they're proud of along the way. As they look ahead, they see the same opportunities that shaped their past continuing to shape the future for generations still to come.

He's proud of everything they've built together so far, and what they'll build next.
