Biography
Robert J. Stevens previously served as the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation, an American aerospace, defense, arms, security, and advanced technologies company, from 2005 to 2012 and served as Executive Chairman in 2013. He also served as Lockheed Martin’s Chief Executive Officer from August 2004 through 2012 and, prior to that role, held a variety of executive positions including President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Head of Strategic Planning.
Mr. Stevens currently serves on the advisory board of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He has been an independent director of the T. Rowe Price Group since 2019, and from 2002 to 2018, he was the lead independent director of Monsanto Corporation. Mr. Stevens also previously served as a director of United States Steel Corporation from 2015 to 2018.
Mr. Stevens earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in industrial engineering and management from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, and an M.S. in business from Columbia University.
