Biography

Admiral Timothy J. Keating, USN (Ret.), currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Keating Global, LLC, a veteran owned security consulting firm that provides expertise in security and crisis response capabilities.

Admiral Keating retired from the U.S. Navy in December 2009 following his tenure as the Commander of the United States Pacific Command, where he was responsible for overseeing a vast region encompassing over 3.4 billion individuals. Prior to his tour at Pacific Command, Admiral Keating was Commander of the United States Northern Command, responsible for protecting the United States homeland and providing support to federal, state and local officials in time of crisis. Simultaneously, he was Commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, providing aerospace warnings, air sovereignty and defense for the United States and Canada. During his naval career, Admiral Keating also served as the Director of the Joint Staff in the Pentagon; command of the United States Fifth Fleet and all navel forces in the United States Central Command, headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain; Deputy Chief of Navel Operations in the Pentagon; command of the USS Kitty Hawk Battle Group; and Deputy Director for Operations on the Joint Staff in the Pentagon.

Admiral Keating has received numerous military decorations from multiple countries, recognizing his distinguished service and contributions. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and was a Chief of Naval Operations Fellow with the Strategic Studies Group.
