U. S. Steel produces a complete line of Coated Sheet products including Bare and Prepainted Galvanized and GALVALUME® Sheets as well as acrylic coated Galvanized and Galvalume Sheet appropriately named ACRYZINC® and ACRYLUME® respectively. All these products are produced at our modern coating lines in Birmingham, AL, and Pittsburgh, PA. Additionally we produce high quality Galvanized Sheet at our plant north of Philadelphia in Fairless Hills, PA and our ProTec joint venture with Kobe Steel in Leipsic, OH.

Energy Star and LEED Programs
The following is an overview of the Energy Star and LEED programs. Both programs are at the forefront of the rapidly growing "green building" movement within the USA. United States Steel actively participates in associations and coalitions whose main focus is educate and assist building decision makers in choosing steel as the principal framing and cladding material.
