operation. Our continuous casters supply our hot strip mills
with the best quality slabs produced anywhere in the world.
In addition, hot strip mills at the Gary, IN, Fairfield, AL
and Mon Valley, PA plants are producing world-class, hot

Each of U. S. Steel's sheet production facilities, Fairfield Works,
Fairless Works, Gary Works and Mon Valley Works is ISO 9000 certified.
In addition, Fairless Works, Gary Works and Mon Valley Works, which
service the Automotive Industry, are QS 9000 certified.
