Cold Rolled Sheet

Cold Rolled Full Hard Sheet
Typical Applications
The limited ductility/formability of Cold Rolled Full Hard Steel sheet restricts the product's use to only two types of applications. One application is use of full hard product for hot-dip coating (galvanizing, etc.) operations. During the hot-dip coating process, the full hard steel is annealed to alter the properties of the substrate in a manner that allows it to be applied for many applications. The other use for full hard cold rolled steel sheet is limited to the manufacture of parts that involve no, or only very limited, forming. For example, full hard sheet can be roll formed into very simple shapes. Simple bends with generous radii may also be made without fracture of the steel.
