Cold Rolled Sheet

Cold Rolled Full Hard Sheet
Application Considerations
The application of cold rolled full hard steel sheet is limited because of the very low amount of ductility exhibited by this highly cold worked steel. Its use is limited to the manufacture of parts that involve only small amounts of simple bending or roll forming. It cannot be joined by welding without unduly affecting the strength in the vicinity of the weld. Thus, joining has to be limited to mechanical types of fastening.

Cold rolled full hard sheet can be painted. To achieve successful results, the same attention to cleaning that is required for conventional cold rolled steel sheet is needed. Refer to the section on Application Considerations in Cold Rolled Steel sheet.
