Tolerances
USS Electrolyte Zinc and Zinc-Iron Alloy Coated Sheet is produced to meet the dimensional tolerances as shown in the following Tables (I - IV). If your application requires improved tolerances for performance reasons, please inquire.

Note 1 - Table IV does not apply when product is ordered full hard. Note 2 - Table IV also applies to lengths cut from coils by our customer when adequate flattening measures are performed. *Maximum deviation from a horizontal flat surface. **Tolerances for high strength steel with specified minimum yield strength in excess of 50 ksi are subject to negotiation.

For the paint film, there are distinct requirements for attributes such as paint film thickness, paint hardness, primer thickness, paint gloss, etc. These are usually defined by mutual agreement among the customer, the paint company and, where applicable, the coil coater.
