West Side Groundwater SWMA
West Side Groundwater is situated under the Iron Producing, Central Mills, Sheet & Tin, Buchanan Street Basins, C-Lot Lagoons and West End SWMA's. Because groundwater is located beneath the entire Facility, it provides the main pathway between potential source areas and any potential receptors. As a result, groundwater will be a major focus of this RFI. Since groundwater quality can be affected by more than one SWMA, groundwater will also be evaluated on a West Side Facility- wide basis.
