Producing SWMA
The Iron Producing SWMA encompasses approximately 155 acres and includes the iron producing operations area west of the Vessel Slip. For geographical reasons, the No.3 Sinter Plant and associated materials blending and handling areas are included in the East Lake SWMA, and the Mason Basins are included in the Coke Plant SWMA.
Current Status: Phase I SAP approved by EPA. Investigation scheduled for Spring 2005.
