East Side Groundwater SWMA
East Side Groundwater is situated under the East End, East Lake and Coke Plant SWMA. Because groundwater is located beneath the entire Facility, it provides the main pathway between potential source areas and any potential receptors. As a result, groundwater will be a major focus of this RFI. Since groundwater quality can be affected by more than one SWMA, groundwater will also be evaluated on a East Side Facility- wide basis.
