For CITE to facilitate a dynamic, open forum to communicate, educate, involve, and interact with the public on issues related to Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Corrective Action at U. S. Steel Gary Works.
Issues
RCRA Corrective Action at U.S. Steel Gary Works (RCRA is a set of federal laws that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) administers in order to ensure that wastes are managed in an environmentally sound manner. RCRA governs activities at facilities that treat, store or dispose of hazardous waste. The RCRA Corrective Action Program provides a step- by- step process that facilities can follow to assess environmental conditions and choose the best clean-up solution where necessary.)
