Lagoons SWMA
The C-Lot Lagoons SWMA encompasses approximately 74 acres. Most of the SWMA is located on land south of the Grand Calumet River, which includes the c- Lot Lagoons Treatment System (SWMU CS 11 ). The three lagoons have received treated process water from wet scrubber wastewater treatment facilities in the steel producing area, continuous casting area, and the 160/210-inch Plate Mill scale pits.
Current Status: Phase I SAP approved by EPA. Phase I Investigation scheduled for Spring 2005
