COMPLIANCE
- PREVENTION of POLLUTION - CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
It is Granite
City Works’ policy to conduct its operations in a manner that is
protective of human health and the environment and to include
environmental management as a factor in business decisions. Accordingly,
with the full approval of Granite City Works’ Management Committee,
Granite City Works is hereby committed to:

Fully
complying with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental
statutory and regulatory requirements, applicable permit requirements,
and any other applicable environmental requirements.

Promoting
awareness among all Granite City Works employees of Granite City Works’
policy to conduct work and/or activities in an environmentally
responsible manner.

Evaluating
and, when practicable, incorporating the use of processes, practices,
materials, and/or products into Granite City Works’ operations to
avoid, reduce, and/or control pollution.

Setting,
regularly reviewing, and updating environmental objectives and
targets.

Making
Granite City Works’ Environmental Policy available to any members of
the public upon request.

Continually
reviewing and improving Granite City Works’ Environmental Management
System.
