Approval Date: 04-16-2001 Revision Date: 08-26-2005

Environmental protection is a primary responsibility of every employee. Accordingly, with the full support and approval of Fairfield Works’ top management, Fairfield is:

Committed to continual improvement:

Fairfield Works is committed to continual improvement of our environmental performance, including setting and reviewing objectives and targets annually. Environmental performance is regularly measured and assessed for conformance to the Environmental Management System requirements.

Accountable to environmental regulations:

Fairfield Works is committed to compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

Responsive to prevention of pollution:

Significant environmental aspects provide the basis for establishing objectives and targets. All significant environmental issues are investigated. Preventive measures are reviewed for relevance, implemented and evaluated for effectiveness. Fairfield Works searches for opportunities to minimize waste by elimination, reduction or reuse where feasible.

Environmental care is everyone’s responsibility:

All employees receive awareness training pertaining to the activities and scope of the Environmental Management System. Employees performing tasks, which can cause significant environmental impacts, are competent on the basis of appropriate education, training and/or experience. This environmental policy is communicated to all persons working on behalf of Fairfield Works and is available to the public.
