Lab Forming Simulative Tests


The formability press in our lab is a double action hydraulic press with 150 tons capacity.  The press is shown in the figure with small die springback tool/die.  The press can accommodate any die set with the size of 700 mm X 750 mm.   Currently forming simulative tests include limiting dome height test, Marciniak cup test, stretch dome (pie pan), hole expansion, small die for springback
