Forming Limit Diagram Determinations
Our lab has the
capability to determine the forming limit diagram for sheet steels. In addition to standard test methods using the four-inch dome test or
Marciniak cup test, an eight-inch
stretch dome test (pie pan)
is also available in the lab. An automatic strain measurement device can read the surface strain with an accuracy of 0.5%.

forming limits in sheet metal stamping

feasibility assessment and in the strain analysis during
