Automotive Center Laboratory


The Automotive Center conducts customer application research, test services and development projects. These projects are often carried out jointly with our customers and our Advanced Applications Technology staff in our Product Technology group. The projects cover a variety of areas in forming/stamping, advanced material characterization, structural analysis/test, advanced CAE applications, and technology developments. 

CAE Lab
Our engineers use computer simulation to assess the feasibility of a material design.

Machine Shop
With various equipment available, it supports the sample preparation needs of our test labs.

Mechanical/Material Test Lab
Here modern tests are performed to assess the properties of materials. 

Metallography Lab
Our highly qualified laboratory personnel perform metallurgical analysis using sophisticated methods.
